AssetBase bundles multiple essential real estate technologies into an easy-to-use, cloud-based toolbox. For a low monthly subscription cost (starting at USD 4.99), users with whom they share their assets get access to all the following features:
Thumbnail Index of All Assets
Asset information is easily entered and stored in a searchable relational database. Key information is presented in thumbnail form with customizable photos. Assets can be searched, filtered, and presented across various attributes. This ‘portfolio view’ of assets can be used to present useful subsets of a user’s holdings, such as all assets of a certain type, in a certain market or in a chosen fund or loan pool.
Virtual Data Room
Each asset is given its own dedicated data room in which files of all types can be stored and shared. Folder names and structures are customizable, and files can be downloaded for printing or presented on-screen for review. The data room is useful for record keeping, reporting, transaction support and due diligence.
Photo and Video Gallery with links for virtual tours
Organize and display photos and videos of each asset with a fully customizable gallery. Users can create folder structures and slideshows to present features of the property or to track development, maintenance, or capex projects. The gallery can accommodate 360-degree photos for immersive viewing as well as video walk-throughs and drone-captured aerials. Virtual properties tours that are hosted off-site are easily linked to the gallery.
Map Views
AssetBase features embedded map functionality, allowing users to view assets in the context of their surroundings. Map and Satellite views are available with customizable scale to view assets at the project, sub-market, or market level. Street views and neighborhood walk throughs are also directly accessible.
Collaboration Tools
Subscribers can share their assets with multiple parties who may access or edit the information. Investors, lenders, tenants, property managers, contractors and transaction counterparties are just some of the possible users amongst whom information and files can be shared. AssetBase includes a dedicated Q&A area for each asset where parties can request and provide information, post files, or simply chat about any aspect of the asset or related transaction/investment.
Presentation Center
AssetBase includes an embedded ‘flipbook’ presentation creator and viewer. Leasing brochures, sales materials, financial presentations, development updates, tour books, and any other presentation material can be easily added to an asset’s cloud-based library. Presentations can be viewed from within the AssetBase application or downloaded for offline review and/or printing.
Private Note Taking
Each asset has a section in which users can make their own private notes and attach files for future reference. Unlike the other features in AssetBase, this area is not shared with other collaborators. It provides each user with a digital ‘notebook’ to keep track of key information or ideas.
